What to Bring
- Sunscreen Hat & sunglasses
- Casual clothes, light jacket [shower proof] & extra towel.
- Any medication regularly taken
- Fishing tackle
- BYO Grog [ give us your requirements in advanced, as we can have it chilled on your arrival, this is a complimentary service as we only charge what it costs us.]
- Large plastic bags for wet/dirty clothes or large fish.
- Keep bags small and soft, no suit cases.
Suggested Fishing Tackle
- One/two rods with lures etc. Short boat rods are the preferred style.
- Two/three large hand reels, with approx 200M of heavy line [50-80lb min].
- Tackle box with an assortment of lures, swivels, plastics. Hooks [chemically sharpened are best 6/0, 7/0,8/0 are the common sizes. Knife & gloves and a few garbage bags. Sinkers: large bean, round & 6,8,12oz snapper.
- We have hooks and sinkers for sale on vessel if you run out.
- REMEMBER: if flying do not have any fishing tackle/tools in your hand luggage.
Extras
- Soft drinks & bottle water available on board.
- Fishing tackle [ We carry a limited amount of hands lines, extra hooks and sinkers can be purchased, at fishing shop prices].
- Alcohol, we can organize this for you, and have it chilled and ready when you arrive. CANS ONLY.
- Reef tax and admin. $20-00
- Fuel levy. [not applicable at this time]
- Extra night on board can be arranged, if needed, at a small additional charge.
- Transfers from Proserpine to vessel.
- If flying, we can supply 20kg aircraft approved foam boxes, cost $15-00, must be ordered in advanced.
