FAR NORTH QUEENSLAND:

Far North Tropical Queensland is one of the last remote wilderness areas still to be explored, and there is the fishing. You have remote river systems, uninhabited islands and vast emerald expanses of reefs, that is the Great Barrier Reef. The variety of fish is as abundant as the anglers imagination. Princess Charlotte Bay, is a sheltered bay on the Cape York Peninsular, not only offering great reef fishing but also good grounds for Mackerel, Tuna1, Queenfish, Trevally King & Blue Salmon, Cod and pelagics, whilst the rivers contain the famous Barramundi, also Mangrove Jack and Mud Crabs.

The reefs between Cooktown and Princess Charlotte Bay are home to Coral Trout, Red Emperor, Nannygai, Trevally, and are some of the least visited along the Barrier Reef chain. As well as the reefs there are remote islands including the Flinders where Aboriginal rock art shows the first sightings of white men as depicted by drawings of sailing vessels.

Join MV Centurion after a short coastal flight to Cooktown, for the adventure of a life time.
